USE
GAS HOB
Safety device
The gas hob has a safety device that stops the
flow of gas if the pressure in the gas cartridge
becomes too high, e.g. due to over-heating.
1.
Turn the control knob to "•" OFF.
2.
Move the gas cartridge lever to UNLOCK
and remove the gas cartridge.
3.
Press the reset lever with the red rubber
cap firmly down.

Check that the gas cartridge lever is in
the UNLOCK position and insert new gas
cartridge. If you do not have a new gas
cartridge, cool the gas cartridge in use
with water.
5.
The control knob must be in the "•" OFF
position to connect the gas cartridge.
Using for the first time
1.
Turn the control knob clockwise as far
as it goes to the "•" OFF position and
check that the gas cartridge lever is in the
UNLOCK position.
2.
Open the gas cartridge housing and
insert the gas cartridge with the top end
towards the front, the slot facing up, fitted
to the valve guide.

Press down the gas cartridge lever and
close the gas cartridge housing.

The gas cartridge is not correctly inserted
if a hissing sound is heard. In which case
do not attempt to light the gas hob, move
the gas cartridge lever to UNLOCK and
repeat steps 1–4 instead.
5.
Press in the knob and turn it to IGNITION
until it clicks. Repeat until the burner lights.

6.
Adjust the knob to the required position.

NOTE:
Never put the gas cartridge lever in the
UNLOCK position when in use.
After use
1.
Turn the control knob clockwise to "•" OFF.
2.
Check that the burner is switched off
before moving the gas cartridge lever to
the UNLOCK position.
3.
Wait until the gas hob has cooled before
removing the gas cartridge.
4.
Fit the red safety cap and store the gas
cartridge in a dry, cool and well-ventilated
area.
