10. DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE
Crossing Streams
Your
ATV
can
operate
through
water
up
to
maximum
recommended depths is 8 inch. Before fording steams always:
1. Determine water depths and current.
2. Choose a crossing where both banks have gradual inclines.
3. Proceed slowly, avoiding rocks and obstacles if possible.
4. After crossing, dry the brakes by applying light pressure to the lever
until braking action is normal.
CAUTION
Never operating the ATV through deep or fast flowing water.
NOTE: After running the vehicle in water, it is critical your machine is
serviced
as
outlined
in
the
maintenance
chart
see
"16.maintenance".The following areas need special attention: engine
oil, transmission oil, rear gear case, and all grease fittings.
Trail Obstacles
Keep Alert!
Look ahead and learn to read the trail as you ride.Stay on the right side
of the trail, if possible, and be constantly alert for hazards such as
logs,rocks and low hanging branches.
