Make sure that the amplifier is turned down, before turning the power on or off. So you can avoid supersonic frequencies, which could damage your speakers. Don't put your equipment next to TV, radio, etc., because of interference or distortion. If you connect other parts of the system, be careful of ground loops. -

Description of the device Features The TM-47 is a classic model condenser microphone that uses a 12AX7 (ECC83) vacuum tube as internal amplifier. This why the microphone has an unsuppressed warm sound and a large dynamic range. It has a large membrane condenser element of which the characteristic can be changed in 9 steps from Omni, via Cardioid to Bidirectional. - Page 7 Fig. 2 4. Output 3-pole XLR male connector. 5. Mic Input 7-pole XLR female connector. Use the special 7-pole XLR cable supplied with your TM-47 to connect the microphone with the Power supply. 6. Characteristic Switch. You can use this switch to change the Microphone directional characteristic in 9 steps from Omni, via Cardioid to Bidirectional.

Operation Installation Remove all packing materials from the TM-47. Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed. Connecting Power / Circuit Size Requirements. Make sure the mains voltage is correct and is the same as printed on the rear of the device. Damage caused by connecting the Device to improper AC voltage is not covered by any warranty. -

Connection Cables Take care of the connector cables, always holding them by the connectors and avoiding knots and twists when coiling them: This gives the advantage of increasing their life and reliability, which is always to your advantage. Periodically check that your cables are in good condition, that they are correctly wired and that all their contacts are in good condition: a great number of problems (faulty contacts, ground hum, discharges, etc.) are caused entirely by using unsuitable or faulty cables. -

Maintenance DAP Audio TM-47 requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid. Do not use alcohol or solvents. -
