Operation
When you release single steps at a keying frequency > 1 Hz, the result
of focusing becomes visible on the display only after the first keying
break of at least 1 second.
By double clicking the focus key, a window appears for direct entry of
object distance. The key assignment of the keyboard changes as
follows:
The system accepts the entry of distances in the range 0.2 m ... 99 m.
For the entry, the numeric keys 0 ... 9, decimal point key and the SET
key are available.
After you have entered the distance, press the Set key to confirm the
input value.
By double clicking the lower focus key, the Autofocus function is
initiated once, if this function has been activated in the Autofunctions
menu (see Freeze menu). Otherwise, – same as with the upper key –
the distance is entered numerically.
In the Autofocus mode, the camera automatically focuses on the object
located in the central 8 lines of the image centre using an implemented
algorithm.
