2.2.17 INSTALLING OR REPLACING A SYSTEM FAN CAGE

Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
To remove a system fan cage, do the following:
1. Remove the server cover. (See "Removing and reinstalling the server cover")
2. Remove all system fans. (See "Installing or replacing a system fan
3. Rotate up the latches on the system fan cage (Step 1)
4. Lift up the fan cage (Step 2)
To reinstall, reverse the steps above.

2.2.18 INSTALLING THE M.2 STORAGE MODULE

Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
1. Turn off all attached devices and the server.
2. Disconnect the AC power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. To assemble the M.2 storage module
I. M.2 storage insert to the connectors (Step 1)
II. Clip the M.2 storages (Step 2)
III. Push the latch to lock M.2 module (Step 3)
To disassemble the M.2 storage module
I. Pinch the latch (Step1) and pull out the lock (Step 2)
II. Lift up the M.2 storage from the lock (Step 3)
III. Pull out the M.2 module from the connectors (Step 4)
