PCM Application Guide
The firmware of SIM7100 has integrated the configuration on WM8960GEFL/RV codec provided by
WOLFSON MICROELECTRONICS with I2C interface.
The reference circuit of the reference design of PCM interfaces with external codec IC in the following
figure. It is recommended to use a 26MHz TCXO component such as TXC CORPORATION
(www.txccorp.com) 8W26000011.

Note: SIM7100 can transmit PCM data by USB port besides PCM interface. For more details please

SD Interface
SIM7100 provides a 4-bit SD/MMC interface with clock rate up to 52 MHz. The operation voltage of
MMC/SD interface is 2.95V with SD/MMC memory cards up to 2 TB, which is
Specification (version 3.0), Secure Digital (Physical Layer Specification, version 3.0) and Multimedia
Card Host Specification MMC (version 4.4).
