HIGH ALTITUDE OPERATION In Canada, this unit is approved from 0 to 4500 feet above sea level. Installation of this appliance at altitudes above 4500 feet are subject to field test of the individual installation and approval by the local authority having jurisdiction.

    DO NOT USE FIELD-FABRICATED VENTING COMPONENTS. The Quadra-Fire DVI-32 is approved to be vertically terminated in a masonry fireplace or a zero clearance fireplace with Simpson Dura-Vent GS series and flex pipe. Only Simpson Dura-Vent components labeled and listed in this section may be used.

    It is very important to maintain a balance between the com- bustion air intake and the flue gas exhaust venting system. MASONRY INSTALLATION The DVI-32 must be vented vertically, using Simpson Dura- Vent direct vent systems through a masonry fireplace or metal zero-clearance fireplace or can be installed using Simpson Dura-Vent GS series pipe in conjunction with Quadra-Fire zero clearance can.
