Charging the battery
WARNING!
Charge the battery pack only with a Briggs & Stratton battery charger.
CAUTION!
The Lithium-Ion battery pack will have been partially charged before shipment.
To maintain charge and to prevent damage while in storage, the battery pack
is programmed to enter a 'sleep mode'. A quick charge of approximately 10
seconds is required to wake up the battery. Leave the battery pack in the
charger until fully charged.
1. Connect the charger into the engine. The indicator will flash during the normal charging
process.
2. A completely discharged battery pack will fully charge in approximately 4 hours. The
battery pack will stay fully charged if left on the charger.
3. From 'sleep mode', the battery will wake up in approximately ten seconds.
4. When not in use, disconnect the battery charger from the mains source.
Battery capacity indication
To check the available charge, press the battery capacity indication button. The display
lights will indicate the approximate amount of capacity remaining in the battery pack.
