Welding preparations

• Laying film and sealing membranes for tunnel construction, groundworks and hydraulic engineering.
Overlap width 80 mm to 125 mm.
• Laying sub-roof film and sealing membranes for roof construction.
Overlap width 60 mm to 70 mm.
• Films and sealing membranes must be clean between the overlap
and on the upper and lower surfaces.
• Power supply at least 3 kW (generator),
fitted with RCCB.
• Power supply cord wires must have a minimum cross section
in accordance with the table.

Operating conditions

The device should only be used in the open or in a well-ventilated areas.
Be careful not to burn the material during welding.
Read and follow the safety precautions provided by the manufacturer for the material.
Before putting into operation, check power supply cord (1) and connector as well as extension cable for
electrical and mechanical damage.
• Attach guide handle (13).
• Pull out handle (8) and pull back the hot wedge support by the handle (8) until it locks again.
Connect tool to rated voltage. The voltage rating stated on the tool should correspond to the

In the case of a power loss, disengage the hot wedge.
• Start the tool with Main or Control Level.
