Logical Address Configuration

Table 3-1 describes the characteristics of the options available under the Logical Address
Configuration menu. Normally for VME systems, you do not have to modify the default
configuration information.

Description
An 8-bit number that uniquely identifies the SB-
MXI. If it is set to 0, it is the Resource
Manager.
Range = 0 to 254
Indicates the classification of the SB-MXI.
0 = Memory
1 = Extended
2 = Message-Based
3 = Register-Based
Indicates the addressing mode(s) of the
SB-MXI's operational registers.
0 = A16/A24
1 = A16/A32
2 = Reserved
3 = A16 only
Time in seconds to wait after power-up or reset
before configuring the VME hardware interface
and checking for any VXIbus devices residing
in the system.
Range = 0 s to 65535 s
