※ Carry out sampling till ERROR display disappears after replacement.
※ You can also release pressure by performing water sampling with the main water main cock
closed.
For the replacement method, refer to "6. Connect the ion exchange resin cartridges firmly" of P.11.
The alarm is reset automatically when the water quality is improved after replacement.
・ Storage of the cartridge over a long period of time may result in deterioration of the water
quality and degradation of the treatment capacity. Prepare the spare cartridge by projecting the
replacement timing. The guideline for storage is about four months.
・ The replaced cartridge should be either disposed of as non-combustible waste or sent back to
us while using the specified invoice attached to the replaced cartridge.
・ We promote adequate recovery and recycling for the purpose of energy conservation.
・ When the ion exchange resin cartridge is to be replaced, replace also simultaneously the
CPC-N ion exchange cartridge. If not, sampling of water enough to maintain the specified
water quality cannot be made.
・ After replacement of each cartridge, dispose of initially sampled water in quantity of about 4 L.
In such an event, exhaust air from resin at the same time till intermittent water flow stops.
For the replacement method, refer to "7. Connect the pretreatment cartridge firmly" of P.13. For
the alarm display reset method after replacement, refer to "Resetting after replacement of
consumable parts" on P.29.
・ The use of the cartridge without replacement may result in shorter cartridge life.
・ The replaced cartridge should be either disposed of as non-combustible waste or sent back to
us while using the specified invoice attached to the replaced cartridge.
6. Maintenance procedures
