Requirements

Before you can commission a SINAMICS HLA, you must perform the following
steps:
•
Install CNC software version V4.8.
A separate application description exists for software version V4.7.
•
Install a special system data block (SDB) in the SINUMERIK 828D so that you
can use PROFIBUS telegram 166.
You can obtain the SDB through PridaNet.
•
Parameterize the encoders on the SINAMICS HLA.
With software version V4.8, you can parameterize the encoders as linear or
rotary. With software version V4.7, only linear parameterization is possible.
Note Do not operate real hydraulic axes on the SINUMERIK 828D.
