Upgrade Procedures

You will perform the following general steps to upgrade your system.
•
Backup all applications and data
•
Shut down the system
•
Remove the present Main Logic Board (MLB)
•
Remove the present fan mount and fan pipe
•
Remove fan from old fan mount and install in new fan mount
•
Attach new fan pipe and install new fan mount/fan pipe
•
Install the new cache memory
•
Install the new MLB
•
Move the power connector on the riser card
