Tools Used:
13mm Wrench
7/16" Wrench
19mm Wrench
Step
1
Block the seat frame against the base frame with a
suitable wood length

Using a 13 mm wrench, remove the Foot Pump Pedal
retaining bolt.

Remove the Foot Pump Pedal by gently tapping with a soft
mallet.
Repeat on opposite side.

  • Page 3 985 Cylinder Exchange Using a 19 mm wrench, remove mounting bolt for the cylinder top location. Make note of which locating hole was used. Remove cylinder. Tag this cylinder immediately so as not to confuse it with the new replacement cylinder. When replacing a non-locking V0 cylinder with a locking V1 cylinder, remove both dampers located beside the cylinder.

Be sure the brand name "Domkat" is in the upright orientation Using a 7/16” wrench reposition the “C” bracket back into position, both sides. Reinstall bottom fasteners, both sides. Using a 19mm wrench, reinstall top fasteners through upper cylinder shaft (use previous locating hole).
