6. Diagnosing faults

Before you carry out any work on the tool, ensure that it is no longer connected to the power
supply.
CAUTION! If you have a problem that is not listed in the table below, contact your local
technical customer support service for assistance.
PROBLEM
The tool does not move, moves
slowly or jumpily forwards
The tool does not move, only
partially or moves slowly
Oil loss at piston
Crimp process is not completed or
does not return to the basic
position

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Air in the system
Oil level low
Cylinder piston jammed
Leaks on the installed pump
Air in the system
Return spring damaged or other
damage to the cylinder
O-rings damaged
Battery is not sufficiently charged,
therefore there is not sufficient
hydraulic energy to release

SOLUTION
Hold the pressing head upright an press the
operating buttons for feed and the release valve
simultaneously for around 10 seconds
Fill oil in accordance with the instructions above
Check the cylinder for damages.

Insert the replacement battery. Ensure that the
replacement battery is always charged.
CAUTION: Pushing the operating button too firmly
may cause damage to the release valve.
