Windows knowledge is required.
Press EMERGENCY STOP
Reboot the control
The "Log on to Windows" window is displayed
Enter the "OEM" user name and the password
Enter the code number "95148"
Press the "ENT" key
Press the "MOD" key
Press the "UPDATE DATA" soft key
Press the "CONVERT BIN → ASC" soft key
Press the "Windows" key to display the taskbar
Double-click the HEIDENHAIN-DIADUR logo in the taskbar
The "iTNC Control Panel" window is displayed
Click "Shut down" to shut down the control software
(do not shut down Windows)
Start the Windows file explorer
Open the path "C:\Program Files\NCSW\"
Select the NC software version "340492-01" (or "340493-01")
Start the setup and follow the instructions on the screen
Downgrade from 340492-02 / 340493-02 Win2000 to -01
