Notes on the MC main memory

In case of a software update it is possible that the main memory of the MC must be expanded.
Please note the following table:
NC software version
34049x-03 and earlier
34049x-04 and newer
Also if the minimum required main memory is already available, there can be limitations
for various software options.
Read the Technical Manual of the iTNC 530.
Check the main memory of the MC as follows:
Set the "Programming and Editing" operating mode
Press the "DIAGNOSIS" soft key.
Press the "HEROS DIAGNOSIS" soft key
The RAM of the MC is displayed in [kB] under the "Total Memory" heading.
