Correct Handling
Gently hold the probe at the grip and apply the tip, detecting point, to a
measuring surface lightly. To meas ure a peak value over a certain measuring
area, move the probe slowly while holding it gently.
Incorrect Handling
Do not press the probe tip against a detecting surface strongly. Such a practice
will cause the probe to de form or functional failure or dam age. Correct
measurements can be obtained from light contact between the probe and the
surface.
lf the probe has been deformed, do not attempt to remedy it. A force to remedy
it will cause damage to the probe.
Only authorised personnel may work with the devices to avoid possible errors
and hazard. The operator is responsible for any third parties present in the
working area.
The responsibilities for different activities must be clearly defined and obeyed.
The operator must make the instruction manual available to the user and
make sure that the user has read and understood them.
The workplace of the user is on a distant field from the magnetic field to be
measured (Distance greater than 30 cm in case of magnetic clamping devices).
