6. Operation of the chlorinator

The DYNAMIC chlorinator is a reverse polarity electronic chlorine generator. It is made of a control unit and a production
cell. The pool must contain 3.5g/l of salt. Salt molecules are transformed into chlorine when passing through the cell. This
process is called electrolysis. The chlorine's strong oxidising properties allow disinfecting the pool. At the end of the cycle,
this chlorine is transformed back into salt. In enclosed premises, there would be no need to add any salt but some of it is
eliminated by splashes and filter cleaning processes.
DYNAMIC chlorinators work with a reverse polarity on the cell's terminals.
The duration of the reversal cycle can be set up gradually by steps of 30mn from 2 hours up to 24 hours.
The choice of this cycle's hardness is linked to the hardness of the water in the pool to be processed.
The below chart allows to select the reversal cycle's hardness depending on the hardness of the water measured.
TH (ppm)
TH (° F)
TIP (heures)
In case of an absence of self pH regulation, select the lower value.
It is preferable to process you pool's water for a TH beyond 40°F. For this, use some TH minus.
