5.2 Adjustment to the flow rate

Adjustment to the flow rate inside the by-pass pipes is made by the flow switch (provided). The flow switch must be installed
over the first hole of the accessories stand. The waterproofness is made with the ribbon PTFE (Teflon ®) not supplied.
The flow switch is a safety device that is essential for the chlorinator to function correctly. The flow switch must be installed
on the same pipe as the chlorinator and not on a parallel pipeline so that it could check the actual water flow through the
chlorinator

5.2.1 Positioning and assembling the flow switch

Make sure the designed arrow on the switch is in the same direction as the water flow when installing the flow switch.

5.3 Assembling the temperature and salinity sensor

The salinity and temperature sensor is essential to the smooth running of the chlorinator.
It is linked to its regulation. The waterproofness is made with the ribbon PTFE (Teflon ®) not supplied.
5.3.1 Positioning/assembling the temperature /salinity sensor
The temperature and salinity sensor must be assembled on the second hole of the accessories' stand.

5.4 Preparing the installation

It is recommended to install the control unit at a height of at least 1m60 above the ground and out of the reach of children.
Be careful not to obstruct the back plate. Leave a 20cm space on sides and a 50cm space above and below the unit to ensure
a proper and necessary ventilation.
In hot season, the aluminium base can reach temperatures of 60°C. Remove any material that may be damaged by the heat
released by the base.

5.5 Installing and connecting the control unit

Position the drill holes using the template on the front of the box.
Affix the control unit using the fixation kit provided.

5.6 Electrical connections

All electrical wiring and connection work must be carried out by a professional electrician. The corresponding invoice
must be attached to any claims made under guarantee. All installations must be equipped with a 30mA (max) differential
circuit breaker positioned upstream from the chlorinator's control unit. Disconnect the power supply before proceeding
with any installation or maintenance operations. The chlorinator must be connected with two slaving systems : a hydraulic
slaving system (for the flow switch) and an electric slaving system (230Vac slaved to the filtration process).

5.6.1 Protection by circuit breaker

The chlorinator's power supply must be connected to the building's electric power supply network. It must be protected by
a 4A magnetothermal two-pole circuit breaker (phase + neutral). This protection device must be dedicated to the
chlorinator only.
As this is a Class I device, it must be grounded. This is compulsory.

5.6.2 Slaved electric power supply

The chlorinator must be powered up only when the filtration is in operation. The 230Vac electric power supply must be
monitored either by a contact available on the filtration contactor or by a specially dedicated contactor whose coil is wired
up in parallel to the filtration contactor.
