Before first use please take time to read through this instruction booklet and note the safeguards
listed below. Carefuly unpack the breadmaker and remove all packaging materials. In order to operate
the breadmaker the appliance will need to be plugged in at the mains. In addition to this the 'ON/OFF'
switch located at the back of the product will need to be switched to 'ON'.
ALWAYS
always ensure hands are dry before handling

the plug or operating appliance.
always use the appliance on a dry, level

surface.
always allow adequate air space above and on

all sides for air circulation. A minimum distance
of 10cm is recommended away from walls to
prevent possible discolouration of the wall due
to heat. Do not allow the appliance to touch
curtains, wallcoverings, clothing, dishtowels or
other flammable materials during use.
CAUTION is required on surfaces where heat
may cause a problem - an insulated heat pad
is recommended.
always check the mains cord set to ensure

signs that the cord set is damaged in the
slightest degree, the entire appliance should
be returned to the Breville customer service
department.

PRECAUTIONS.

when operating. Avoid contact with moving
parts.
✘ never use this appliance outdoors.
✘ never immerse the appliance or cord set/plug
in water or any other liquid to protect against
electrical hazards.
✘ never use this appliance for anything other
than intended use. This appliance is for
household use only.
✘ never allow children to use this product. Close
supervision is necessary near children.
✘ never let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter, touch hot surfaces or become
knotted.
✘ never place the appliance on or near a hot
gas or electric stove, or where it could touch a
heated oven or microwave oven.
✘ never use harsh, abrasive, caustic or oven
cleaners to clean this appliance.
✘ never use any appliance with a damaged
cord set, after it has malfunctioned or been
damaged in any way. Return to the Breville
customer service department because special
purpose tools are required.
✘ never place anything on top of the lid. Do not
cover the air vents whilst the bread machine is
in use or before the appliance has fully cooled.
✘ never place the breadmaker near the edge of
a table or counter.
