Advanced menu

The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other
system devices.
Be cautious when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items. Incorrect
field values can cause the system to malfunction.
3.3.1

ACPI Settings

Enable ACPI Auto Configuration [Disabled]
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Enable Hibernation [Enabled]
Enables or disables hibernate feature (OS/4 Sleep State). This option may not
work with some operating systems. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
ACPI Sleep State [S3 (Suspend to RAM)]
Select the highest ACPI sleep state the system will enter when the Suspend button
is pressed. Configuration options: [Suspend Disabled] [S3 (Suspend to RAM)]
Lock Legacy Resources [Disabled]
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]

Super IO Configuration
Serial Port1~6 Configuration
The sub-items in this menu allow you to set the serial port configuration.
Serial Port [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the serial port (COM).
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Device Mode [RS232]
Allows you to select COM RS Mode.
Configuration options: [RS232] [RS422] [RS485]
Change Settings [Auto]
Allows you to select the Serial Port base address.
Configuration options:
[Auto] [IO=3F8h; IRQ=4] [IO=3F8h; IRQ=3~12;] [IO=2F8h; IRQ=3~12;]
[IO=3E8h; IRQ=3~12;] [IO=2E8h; IRQ=3~12;]
