Power output diagnostics
Power output diagnostics
The device features a diagnostics function for detecting power output faults. In every half-
wave, the status of the power output is requested and checked at a fixed point in time.
The following faults are detected:
● Heating element fault
● Breakdown of a solid state relay (SSR)
● Incoming fuse has tripped
● Outgoing fuse ruptured or SSR has high resistance
Requirements for diagnostics
The "SSR breakdown" fault is always indicated (provided the mains voltage is connected),
regardless of heating status; all other faults are only indicated when heating is enabled
(heating is "ON").
Diagnostic functions
The faults that can be detected are listed in the table below complete with their error codes:
Fault
Heating element fault
SSR breakdown
Incoming fuse has tripped
Outgoing fuse ruptured or
SSR has high resistance
You will find information about the causes of faults and possible rectification measures in the
Fault reporting through diagnostics data section.
