Click the Logical Drive whose information is to be seen on the Tree View and click
[Properties] on the pull-down menu of menu item [File].
The [Option] tab allows you to see the settings of the Logical Drive. Confirm the
value of "Cache Mode (Setting)" is "Auto Switch".
Indicates the mode of writing data to the cache memory installed in the RAID
Controller.
Auto Switch: Switches the mode automatically between Write Back and Write
Tips
Through depending on the existence and/or status of battery.

The [General] tab indicates
the property of the Logical
Drive. 
Confirm the value of "Cache
Mode (Setting)" is "Write
Back".
・Universal RAID Utility may not able to recognize the battery pack if it is charged
only at the minimum level (or uncharged). If this occurs, charge the battery pack
for 24 hours or more. Then reboot the server and try to recognize the battery pack
again by using Universal RAID Utility.
Notice
・If the battery connected immediately before, Cache Mode becomes Write Through
because of the refresh Cycle. Please wait for 9 hours or more to charge the
battery. Then confirm the Cache Mode.
To know about details of the Write Policy, refer to the manual of the RAID Controller
or the server's manual.
