6. Installation

Note:
• Place the Sololift in such a position that the cover
can be removed for periodic inspection.
• To eliminate the transmission of noise to the build-
ing
- ensure that there is at least 10 mm clearance
between the Sololift and any adjacent wall and
- place the Sololift on an anti-vibration material.
Connection to WC:
1. Place Sololift in the desired position behind the
toilet bowl.
2. Place the toilet bowl in front of the Sololift and
pull the sealing sleeve over the toilet discharge
pipe.
3. Secure Sololift to the floor by means of the fas-
teners supplied with the unit.
Connections to other units (Sololift 4-2 only):
If a shower is to be connected, the discharge con-
nection from the shower must be at least 180 mm
higher than the base of the Sololift, see below.
This ensures
• a sufficient fall from the shower towards the Solo-
lift and
• a sufficient height in relation to the cut-in level of
the Sololift.

flow level (i.e. main sewer level). The pipework from
this point must be made with pipe sizes of at least
