1. General description

The GRUNDFOS Sololift compact mini lifting station
has a functional design with an easy-to-clean white
surface. The automatic lifting station is easy to install
and provides faultless operation.
Sololift is available in two versions:
• Sololift 3-0 for connection to a single toilet.
• Sololift 4-2 for connection to a single toilet, a
shower and a wash basin.

1.1 Applications

The Sololift is designed for the pumping of discharge
water from a toilet, a shower and a wash basin
where sewage and/or wastewater cannot be led di-
rectly to the sewer by means of a natural downward
slope.
Sololift is typically used for:
• toilets, showers and wash basins in basements
below sewer level and
• toilets, showers and wash basins installed in con-
nection with the renovation or modernisation of
existing buildings, where the location may be re-
mote from the main soil pipe so that a natural
slope cannot be established.
Note: Sololift is only suitable for pumping sewage
water which contains toilet paper and faeces. The
pumping of other materials may cause blockages
and flooding, leading to other faults which may limit
or invalidate the scope of our guarantee.

2. Function

6
Wastewater from the connected units is discharged
7
into the Sololift. The pump starts automatically when
7
the water level has risen to approx. 60 mm and then
7
stops again when the water level has fallen to ap-
prox. 30 mm.
7
Solids, which have been flushed through the toilet,
7
are shredded by the cutter and together with the
wastewater are then pumped through the discharge
pipe to the main sewer line or a septic tank.
