Maintenance
The CheckScanner™ 2.0 is a sensitive optical measuring device and should be handled carefully.
For accurate results, it is essential that the instrument is maintained in a dust-free state. The external
CheckScanner™ 2.0 housing must be regularly cleaned with a lint-free cloth. Do not use any
detergents for cleaning.
Moreover, to ensure accurate performance of the CheckScanner™ 2.0, the included Verifi cation Kit
should be regularly used.
Although the CheckScanner™ 2.0 is a robust machine, it is recommended that regular service is
performed by authorized service personnel.
If you are observing any malfunction which is unrelated to the software, please call a qualifi ed
service engineer of the manufacturer or its representative.

Waste Disposal
Waste disposal has to be performed in accordance with local guidelines.
18.4
Product Warranty
Greiner Bio-One guarantees good workmanship in accordance with generally accepted professional
standards or work of this nature. Greiner Bio-One warrants that the CheckScanner™ 2.0 will conform
to the product specifi cations. Each CheckScanner™ 2.0 shall be warranted for twelve (12) months
after the system is installed at the customer site. The warranty shall be effected by free of charge
repair or replacement of the defective module and/or the instrument by Greiner Bio-One in their
premises in Frickenhausen, Germany.
The above warranty does not cover damages arising from unintended use of the CheckScanner™
2.0, fair wear and tear, improper or negligent treatment, failure to follow the instructions for use,
unsuitable process materials or unauthorized modifi cations of the CheckScanner™ 2.0.
