It is recommended to turn on the CheckScanner™ 2.0 at least 20 min before usage. During this time
the CheckScanner™ 2.0 gets equilibrated and hence leads to stable signals.
If applicable, it is recommended to perform a verifi cation using the CheckScanner™ Verifi cation Kit
(Cat.-No. 862 030) before. Thereby, it is secured that the CheckScanner™ 2.0 works fi ne and that
it is equilibrated when scanning the fi rst oCheck
Scanning and evaluation of HTA™Slides and test kits of the oCheck
done using the CheckReport™Software (cat.no. 862 080 or 862 090).
The installation and usage of the CheckReport™Software is described in the „CheckReport™Software
Installation Guide" and „CheckReport™Software User Guide".
Before starting a scan it is necessary to ensure, that the processed oCheck
entirely dry. Even minimal amounts of liquid can contaminate the scanner with fl uorescence dyes.
To insert slides into the scanner, the lid has to be opened as shown in Figure 2. Always be sure to
hold the slide sideways and not to touch the surface of the slide. Only insert the slide as the slide
carriage has been fully extended. Then, the slide has to be insert up to the stop. After insertion of
the slide, the barcode must be on the upper right hand side of the slot (see also Figure 2).

Before starting the scan, the lid must be closed again.
15.1 LED Color Description
During the scan:
During the default status the LED fl ashes green. It changes to yellow during the scan.
After the scan is completed successfully the status changes back to green.
If an error occurs during the scan the yellow LED fl ashes.
During the fi rmware-download:
During the default status the LED fl ashes green. When fi rmware is downloading it changes to yellow.
When the download is completed successfully the status changes back to green.
If an error occurs during the download the yellow LED fl ashes.
Initialization error:
If an initialization error occurs, the LED fl ashes alternately green and yellow and an error message
appears on the computer screen. In this case please contact the technical support.
