Bus Connector
The bus connectors are the physical interfaces to the video encoder chassis that provide network
and power for the blade.
BNC Connector
Connect a 75 Ohm coaxial video cable; the recommended maximum length is 250 m (800 ft).
Indication
No backplane power.
Steady: Backplane and front power ok.
Flashing: Backplane power ok. No front power.
Flashing: Front power too low or too high.
Flashing: Self test fail.
No device unit detected or PoE over coax not required.
Steady: PoE over coax enabled to device unit and camera.
Short blink: PoE over coax enabled to device unit. No PoE to camera.
Steady: Approaching power limit.
Steady: Power limit reached.
Flashing: PoE disconnected due to overload.
Short blink: Short circuit, check for cable fault or incompatible
equipment.
No device unit detected.
Steady: Device unit connected, 100Base-T link to camera.
Flashing: Device unit connected, 100Base-T link activity.
Short blink: Device unit connected, no network to camera.
Steady: Device unit connected, 10Base-T link to camera.
Flashing: Device unit connected, 10Base-T link activity.
Data rate low, cable distance at limit.
