15. Orient cover support collar [9] as required by removing and reinstalling screws [10]. Lap joint in collar defines the
hinge location of the cover (SEE FIGURES E & F).
16. Install finished flooring to within 1/8 inch [3.2 mm] of cover support collar [9]. FOR CERAMIC TILE - DO NOT GROUT
BETWEEN THE SUPPORT COLLAR AND TILE.
17. Adjust height of cover support collar flush to just below the finished floor. Cover support collar is adjustable for
finished floors of 0 inches to .25 inches [0.0 - 6.4 mm] thick. Tighten mounting screws [10] to 10 - 15 lbs-in torque
[1.1 - 1.7 N m]. For thicker floor finishes use accessory collars (CFB6RCVRR series), sold separately.
18. Seal the gap around the cover support collar [9] with a continuous bead of electrical grade type RTV silicone sealant
(SEE FIGURE G).
19. Use the provided floor gasket or apply a 1/4 inch [6.3 mm] thick continuous bead of electrical grade type RTV silicone
sealant compound around the perimeter on the underside of the flange [11].
20. Attach flange [11] to the cover support collar [9] using #8-32 flat head screws [12] provided with the cover. Tighten
to 10 - 15 lbs-in torque [1.1 - 1.7 N m].

NOTICE: Insure data/communications circuits are separated from lighting/power circuits in accordance with the NEC
and CE Code requirements.
Use with CFBS1R6CVRxx series round covers or CFBS1R6FFCVRxx series round furniture feed covers.
BEFORE CONCRETE POUR, SEE FIGURES A, B, & C
1. Remove four #8-32 pan head screws [1] from top corners of floor box assembly and retain.
2. Remove transition [2] and mounting plate [3] assemblies from box and retain.

3. Install leveling screws [4] as shown in FIGURE A.
4. Make conduit connections in accordance with application and applicable electric codes.
5. Wiring channel [5] can be positioned along either side of box. Reinstall mounting plate [3] aligning short leg with
wiring channel (SEE FIGURE B).
