DVD System Menu Options
(underlined options are the factory default settings)
A screen saver prevents damage to the TV screen by avoiding
exposure to a static image for too long.
1) Use
keys to select one of the options.

2) Press OK to confi rm your selection.
Select the country of your area for auto channel tuning.
(See section " Step 3: Installation and Setup - Select the country
of your residence")
The colour system of the DVD system, DVD and TV should
match. Only then will it be possible to play a DVD on this system.
Before changing the TV system, determine the colour system of
your TV set.
1) Use
keys to select one of the options.
NTSC

2) Press OK to confi rm your selection.
Helpful Hint:
If a blank/distorted TV screen appears, wait for 10 seconds for the auto
recovery.
This option will restore all the settings of this recorder, except
for the PIN code.
Restore Factory settings can only be changed when there
is no disc in the disc tray.
1) Use
keys to select { Restore Factory Settings } and
press OK.
A warning message will appear.
2) Select
in the menu to proceed or
OK
then press OK to confi rm.
– Select this if you wish to turn off the TV screen
after playback had been stopped or paused for
longer than 15 minutes.
– Select this to disable the screen saver.
– Select this if the connected TV set has the
NTSC colour system. It will change the video
signal of a PAL disc and output it to NTSC
format.
– Select this if the connected TV set has the PAL
colour system. It will change the video signal of
an NTSC disc and output it to PAL format.
