Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the multimeter only
according to this manual.
 Dispose of the packaging materials carefully or store them out
of reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 When using the measuring probes, keep your fingers behind
the finger guards on the probes.
 Connect the black test lead to the COM input before you
connect the red test lead. When you disconnect test leads,
disconnect the red test lead first.
 If the unit or the measuring probes become damaged, do not
use them any further, but have the unit repaired by a profes-
sional.
 Do not use the multimeter outdoors in wet weather conditions.
There is a risk of fatal injury!
 The unit does not belong into the hands of children. It is not a
toy.
 Be extra careful with direct voltage over 60 V and alternating
voltage over 30 V. Such voltages can cause fatal strokes.
 Do not apply higher voltage than the rated voltage as marked
on the meter.
 Do not exceed the max. specified input values for each
measurement function.
 Before use verify the meter's operation by measuring a known
voltage.
 Before changing the measuring range, disconnect both
measuring cables from the circuit (Cable, rail etc.).
 Never operate the multimeter while it is opened.
