Selecting a preset radio station

Press TUNER to select the radio tuner.

Press CH + or CH – repeatedly to skip to a preset radio
station or use 0–9 to enter the number of a preset radio
station.To enter a preset number with two digits, press 0–9
twice within 2 seconds.
f, the waveband, the station (station name or frequency)
and the preset number are displayed. If the radio signal
is stereo, = will appear.

Tuning to a radio station

Press TUNER to select the radio tuner.
f, the waveband and the station (station name or
frequency) are displayed.

To change the waveband, press TUNER repeatedly.
Keep 4 or ¢ pressed for about 1 second.

Release 4 or ¢ at the frequency where to start

searching.
SEARCH is displayed and the DVD recorder system
searches for a radio station with sufficient signal strength.
To stop searching, press 4 or ¢ again.

Repeat steps 3–4 until you find the desired radio station.
To tune to a weak radio station, briefly press 4 or ¢

as often as necessary for optimum reception.

Storing radio stations

You can store up to 40 preset radio stations in the memory
of the DVD recorder system.

Automatic searching and storing

The DVD recorder system searches radio stations with
sufficient strength automatically and stores them in the
memory.

If necessary, press TUNER to select the radio tuner.

Press AUDIO MENU to enter the audio menu.
Press 4 repeatedly to select TUNER, then press 2.

AUTO INST is displayed.
Press 2.

The preset number, the waveband and frequency of the
current radio station appear.
5 Press CH+ or CH – to select the preset number from
which onwards the found radio stations will be stored.
Note: Already existing radio stations with this or higher preset
numbers will be deleted.
To change the waveband, press TUNER.

Then press OK.
The automatic search starts. Radio stations with sufficient
signal strength will be stored. If a radio station is already
stored in a lower preset it will not be stored again.

Press AUDIO MENU to exit the audio menu.

Manual searching and storing

Press AUDIO MENU to enter the audio menu.
Press 4 repeatedly to select TUNER, then press 2.

Press 4 repeatedly to select MAN INST.

The preset number, the waveband and frequency of the
current radio station appear.

Tune to the desired radio station (see steps 2–5 of "Tuning
to a radio station").

Press CH+ or CH – to change the preset number where
to store the found radio station.
Note: A radio station with the same preset number will be
deleted.

Press OK to store the radio station.
STORED is displayed.
To store additional radio stations, continue with step 5.
