Do not use the spout and the ring with a glass bottle.
Children using a glass bottle without adult supervision may
cause hazardous situations.
Do not put the spout cup in the freezer compartment.
To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool down before you fill
the spout cup.
Cleaning and sterilization
After each use, disassemble all parts and clean them thoroughly
in warm water and some washing-up liquid. You can also clean
all parts on the top rack of the dishwasher (Fig. 1).
If necessary, clean the spout with the Philips Avent cleaning
brush sold separately (SCF145).
Do not use abrasive or anti-bacterial cleaning agents or
chemical solvents.
Do not place parts directly on surfaces that have been
cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaners.
Food colorings can discolor parts. This is not harmful.
After cleaning, sterilize the spout cup. Place the spout cup in
boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene.
The spout cup is also suitable for electric and microwave
sterilization. Only use a microwave sterilizer or Philips Avent
microwave sterilizing bags (SCF297) to sterilize any part of
the spout cup in the microwave.
Storage:
For hygiene and maintenance, disassemble the spout cup and
store it in a dry and covered container.
Keep the spout cup away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
Interchangeability chart
The screw top and container of the spout cup are compatible
with several Philips Avent bottles and cups. For details,
see the interchangeability chart (Fig. 2).
