The machine Model and Serial Number are shown on the
plate on the machine itself. This information is needed
when ordering spare parts for the machine. Use the space
below to note the machine model and serial number for
future reference.

PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR
USE

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

(See Fig. B)
WARNING!
Use extreme caution when working with
batteries. Sulphuric acid in batteries can
cause severe injury if allowed to contact the
skin or eyes. Explosive hydrogen gas is
vented from the batteries through openings
in the battery caps. This gas can be ignited
by spark or flame.

WHEN SERVICING THE BATTERIES

Remove all jewels
Do not smoke
Wear safety glasses
Work in a well ventilated area
Do not allow tools to touch more than one battery
terminal at a time
CAUTION!
The electric components of this machine
can be seriously damaged if batteries are
either installed or connected improperly.
Batteries can be installed by qualified
personnel only.
Set the machine according to the battery
type to install (WET for lead/acid batteries,
GEL for hermetic gel batteries) using the 26
selector Fig. A. Set the battery charger
(optional) according to the same battery
type, using the selector on the battery
charger panel.

USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
1.
Check the batteries for damage before installation.
2.
Disconnect the battery charger plug from the
electrical system.
3.
Carefully lift the batteries and place them as shown in
fig. B.
4.
Be sure that the battery charger cables are properly
connected to the battery terminals according to their
polarity.
5.
Install the battery terminal protection caps supplied
with the machine.
6.
Charge the batteries as indicated in paragraph J.

INSTALLING THE BRUSH OR PAD

(See Fig. C)
WARNING!
Moving parts: Turn all switches and the key
(*) to "0" position (OFF) before any service
operation.
(*) BA 450/530/530 Inox with drive motor only
IMPORTANT!
1.
If using a pad, install it on the pad holder first.
2.
Lift the brush deck in the upper position.
3.
Place the brush/pad-holder under the lifted brush
deck.
4.
Lower the brush pedal.
5.
Turn the brush switch to "I" position (ON).
6.
Push and release the paddle to engage the
brush/pad-holder.

INSTALLING THE SQUEEGEE

(See Fig. D)
1.
Install the squeegee on the bracket.
2.
Tighten the thumb nuts securely.
3.
Connect the hose.

FILLING THE SOLUTION TANK

(See Fig. E)
1.
Fill the solution tank with an appropriate cleaning
solution.
2.
Do not overfill the solution tank.
3.
Always follow the dilution instructions on the chemical
container label.
4.
The detergent temperature must not exceed 40°C.
CAUTION!
Use only low-foam and non-flammable liquid
detergents, intended for automatic scrubber
applications.
