This charger incorporates a wide range of protective and monitoring systems designed to check the charger's functions and monitor the state of its elec-
tronics. If any of the unit's limit values are exceeded, the charger responds accordingly: the charge process is switched off (e.g. car battery almost fl at).
The warning message and the audible warning signal can be switched off by pressing any button.
This warning message combined with a sound is displayed if the voltage of the car battery or power supply falls below 11 V or exceeds

15 V.

This warning message is displayed if no battery is connected to the unit's charge outputs when pressing START. Connect a battery
NO
and start the charging process again.
Battery
This warning message is displayed if a battery is connected to the unit's charge outputs with wrong polarity. Connect the battery with
Wrong
correct polarity and start the charging process again.
Polarity
If the charger detects an interruption of the connection between battery and charger during a charge process, the screen displays
OPEN
this error message. If you see this error message when the charger is in use, it may indicate an intermittent contact. Note: the same

error message also appears if you deliberately interrupt the charge process, e.g. by discon-necting the charge lead.
If the unit detects a malfunction during the charge process, this error message appears. Attempt to re-start the charge process: if

this does not work, disconnect the battery, then disconnect the charger from its power supply, and send it to your nearest Graupner

Service Centre.
The battery voltage is lower or higher than is correct for the set cell count. Check the cell count setting and correct if necessary.
BAT.Volt

This error message appears if the set cell count does not correspond to the battery connected to the balancer. Check the cell count
BAL.CON
setting and correct if necessary.

If a LiXX battery is connected to the balancer output and the charger detects a cell voltage which does not match the battery type, this
