Description of the device Features RGB-Par is a Parcan from Showtec with RGB-Mix. • Lamp: 3 x 575 240V/575W (80812G / 80812O) • 3 x 575 bulbs with 15.000 lumen each. • 3 DMX channels, one per colour: R/G/B • Built-in DMX 512 dimmer NOTE: Knowledge of DMX is required to fully utilize this unit.
Installation Installing the Lamp The Showtec RGB Par uses three 575W (ordercode 80812G / 80812O) bulbs as manufactured by all popular manufacturers. Use only the appropriate lamp for your unit. Note that, product versions that use other lamps, may be offered in the future. Check your product specification label for information.
Set Up and Operation Follow the directions below, as they pertain to your preferred operation mode. Before plugging the unit in, always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification voltage. Do not attempt to operate a 120V specification product on 230V power, or vice versa. 1.

C & B-Modus (Color & Bright) If the C & B LED is lit, the RGB Par serves as a 2 channel dimmer pack. The color of the light is controlled by one DMX channel, and the brightness of lighting is controlled by another DMX channel.
DMX Channels Table The color and intensity can be changed according the following table: Note: 1. " N" means DMX value (0-255). Example: If DMX value is 239, blue intensity will be 50-(239-237)x6=38%, red intensity will be 25-(239-237)x6=13%, green intensity be 100%. 2.
3. Mechanically moving parts like axles, eyes and others may not show any traces of wearing. 4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damages or material fatigue. The Showtec RGB Par requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Otherwise, the fixture’s light-output will be significantly reduced.
3. If all of the above appears to be O.K., plug the unit in again. 4. If you are unable to determine the cause of the problem, do not open the RGB Par, as this may damage the unit and the warranty will become void.
