    Rigging and Safety Procedures Rigging and Safety Procedures The Tannoy Professional hardware covered in this guide has been designed to offer a quick, simple, cost effective and secure solution for mounting specific Tannoy Professional loudspeakers. This hardware has been designed and manufactured with a high safety load factor for its specific role. To ensure the safest possible use of the hardware covered in this guide, it must be assembled in strict accordance with the instructions specified.

    Nut M6 NYLOC Stainless Steel 2. Fix bracket to wall surface Whenever a Tannoy Professional loudspeaker is fixed to a surface using a Tannoy Professional Hardware device, the installer must ensure that the surface is capable of safely and securely supporting the load.

    3. Fixing the QFlex 64 to the bracket 3. Fixing the QFlex 64 to the bracket The QFlex 64 has been designed to be fixed to the bracket from the bottom up. The QFlex 64 is assembled from 6 individual modules as shown in 3.1 below.

    3. Fixing the QFlex 64 to the bracket 3.1.1 Module 1 Module 1 (complete with the joining plate fitted) attaches to the bottom two mounting blocks as shown below. (Fig .1 and Fig .2) Align the dowels with the holes on the mounting block and lower into place. (Fig .1) Now add the plain washer above the lock nut and run up until it makes contact but still allows column to move freely.

    3. Fixing the QFlex 64 to the bracket 3.1.2 Module 2 Module 2 does not have mounting dowels and attaches directly to module 1 and 3 using the joining plates. (Fig .4) Connect the data and mains cable linking the two units together. (Fig .5) Attach the joining plates in the three stages as shown below.

    3. Fixing the QFlex 64 to the bracket 3.1.3 Module 3 Follow the procedures in 3.1.1 for module 3 using mounting block 3 and 4. 3.1.4 Module 4 Fig .7 Fig .8 Fig .9 Module 4 does not have the mounting dowels and attaches directly to module 3 and 5 using the joining plates.
