EMPORARY
This feature is useful only if you use pulse dialing service. Temporary tone
dialing enables pulse (rotary) service phone users to access touch-tone
services offered by banks, credit card companies, etc. For example, when
you call your bank you may need to enter your account number. Using the
temporary tone feature allows you to temporarily switch to touch tone
mode so you can enter and send your number.
1. Press and release the * button.
2. Dial the telephone number and wait for the line to connect.
3. Follow the automated instructions to get the information you need.
4. When you hang up or select another line, the phone automatically
returns to pulse dialing mode.
TIP: You can also use Temporary Tone while storing numbers in memory by
pressing the * button at the necessary point in the storage sequence.

If the last number you dialed is busy, you can redial it immediately and
without hanging up the handset, headset, or speakerphone by simply
pressing the REDIAL button.
NOTE: The Redial feature stores in memory all the numbers you press. If you
press any numbers after the last phone number dialed (for example, when
accessing a voice mail system), those numbers are also dialed when the Redial
button is pressed. This may cause the phone to dial an invalid number.
