TTACHING THE
1. Turn the phone over so that the bottom of the base is facing up and the
thickest end is pointing away from you.
2. Turn the mounting pedestal so that the flat side is facing upwards.
3. Thread the telephone line cord through the groove on the thin end of
the pedestal.
4. With the thin end of the pedestal pointing upward, insert the tabs on the
rounded edge of the pedestal into the two lower slots on the bottom of
the base, then push the pedestal down until all of the tabs snap into
place.
IMPORTANT: To mount the phone on the wall, slip the mounting holes on
the pedestal over the wall plate posts and firmly slide the unit down into place.

ONNECTING THE

1. Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the jack on the side of the
base unit.
2. Connect the other end of the cord to the jack at the bottom of the
handset, then place the handset in the cradle.
NOTE: The phone automatically defaults to touch-tone dialing. To change to
pulse (rotary) dialing, see "DIALING MODE." If you don't know which type of
service you have, check with the phone company.
