Fire Prevention Tips

If you must leave the kitchen when frying food, turn the
burner off or remove the pan from the burner until you
return.
In case of a grease fire:
NEVER attempt to move a pan of cooking grease that is
already on fire from the kitchen range.
NEVER attempt to extinguish a grease fire with water.
Instead, alert the other occupants and evacuate. Let the
fire suppression system installed in the hood extinguish
the range top fire. Wait at least 30 minutes after a
cooking fire has been extinguished before approaching
your range.
