In combination with a suitably rated insulating stick, this camera set (SET DIGIK) can be used for pe-
riodic on-site inspections of electrical installations up to 36 kV without disconnection according to
section 5.3.101.1 of the EN 50110-1 standard.
In this process, parts of the installation can be photographed or filmed to detect external damage or
defects.

The Cyber-Shot QX10 (DIGIK QX10) digital camera from Sony in a plastic housing (G DIGIK) with
adapter (AD M6 ZK 185) may only be used in combination with an insulating stick of the relevant
nominal voltage up to 36 kV.
Attention:
The camera partly consists of a conductive metal enclosure. Therefore, no live parts may contact
the camera or the camera objective when used in electrical installations.
In the following, the digital camera mounted in the housing with adapter is termed
operating head (see Fig. 2, 2.2 Completely mounted operating head).

Please observe the instruction manual (4-480-203-12(1)) of the DSC- QX10 (DIGIK QX10) digital
camera from Sony. In this manual, you will also find the registration data (SSID and password)
for the Wi-Fi connection.
Note:
Electromagnetic fields in case of special frequencies in the GHz range may influence picture and
sound of the camera.

Only electrically skilled or instructed persons according to EN 50110-1:... may use the opera-
ting head in combination with an insulating stick which is suitable for the operating voltage
of the installation – Life hazard!
