Only operating heads with insulating stick that are rated for the relevant installation may be used
(e.g. nominal voltage / nominal frequency on the rating plate).

6. Maintenance test

When using the operating head in combination with the insulating stick, leakage currents must be
measured and a test for protection against bridging (EN 50508) must be carried out at defined intervals.
The intervals for the maintenance test depend on the conditions of use, for example frequency of use,
environmental conditions, transport, etc. It is advisable to perform a maintenance test at least every 6
years.
The maintenance test is documented on the relevant single parts (see Figure 6 and Figure 7).
