OPERATION

The device has two operating modes. It can be operated via the Control Board or it can be run in DMX-
controlled mode via a DMX controller.
After you connected the effect to the mains, the LED EXT-Blinder starts running.

Stand Alone operation

In the Stand Alone mode, the LED EXT-Blinder can be used without controller. Disconnect the LED EXT-
Blinder from the controller and call the internal program.
Please refer to the instructions under Control Board.

Control Board

The Control Board offers several features: you can e. g. simply set the starting address.
Enter the menu by pressing the Menu-button. You can change the selection by pressing Up or Down.
Confirm every selection by pressing the Set-button. You can leave every mode by pressing the Menu-button.
The functions provided are described in the following sections.
After you connected the effect to the mains, the display shortly indicates "A001" followed by:

Function
With this function, you can adjust the desired DMX
512 address via the Control Board.
In the Stand Alone mode, the device can be used
without controller. Disconnect the device from the
controller and call up the internal programs. At.08 is
editable (Please refer to the instructions under main
menu Edit)
Adjust DMX channel mode
With this function, you can adjust the DMX channel
mode. The device features 5 different DMX channel
modes.
Mod1 – 3 channel mode
Mod2 – 5 channel mode
Mod3 – 8 channel mode
Mod4 – 8 channel mode
Mod5 – 15 channel mode
Edit the scenes of the internal program At.08
r.001-r.255 (red)
g.001-g.255 (green)
b.001-b.255 (blue)
f.001-f.255 (flash)
D.001-D.255 (DIMMER)
This function is only valuable for the internal program
At.08 (s. Auto function).
Select On: Automatic program mode when there is
no DMX signal and that the device is defined as
master.
Select Off: Automatic program mode when there is
no DMX signal and that the device is defined as
master. The device can receive the DMX-512 signal.
