When you don't want sounds other than
from
the scene being
shot to be recorded, aim directly at the object sound using an
optionally
available telescopic condenser m icrophone which
can be mounted on the accessory shoe on top of the camera.
The accessory shoe is equipped with a stopper to
prevent
the
microphone
from becoming detached during operation
.
In-
sert the microphone into the shoe until the stopper clicks up.

Insert the
receiver supplied
with
the
microphone
into
the accessory shoe.

It is possible to simultaneously
record sounds from both
MIC
and AUX jacks.
One recording technique is that in which background music is
recorded from a tape recorder connected to the AUX jack

while a narration is recorded from the microphone

The recording level from the AUX jack must be adjusted with
the source device controls while the camera sound level con

trol is at "AUTO".
