1 . Push the side cover latch

the arrow.
2. Open th e side cover .

3 . Insert a Su per -8 sound film car t ridge or silent film cartridge .
Align the came ra guide pin w it h the cartridge guide slot, the n
press lightly on t he cartr idge from above.

4 . Close the side cover.
Fi Im sensitivity is automatica lly set.
Do not operate the camera with the cover open and a car-
tridge
in
position .
Safety lever
When the side cover is opened in the run ni ng lock mode
(seep . 15), the yellow safety lever projects to prevent inser ·
tion or removal of the cartr idge.
