FOCUSING
This camera uses the aerial image focusing system.
To
focus, turn the focusing ring so that
the
image is seen most
clearly in the viewfinder.
There are three other simplified focusing techniques:
Focu sing
by
measuring the distance

Measure or
estimate
the
distance
between
camera
(

mark) and subject.
Set the
focusing
ring to
this
value.
Universal focusing
Set the focusing
ring to
5 m (15 ftl.
This method is based on the depth of field. The aperture should
be F5.6 or higher. Use this method when you have no time to
focus
as when making documentaries
.
The universal focusing method, effective due to the wide depth
of field, cannot be used with the lens set to maximum telephoto.
For
clear focusing, focal lengths of
up
to 20 mm are desirable.
