PICTURE AND SOUND FADE -IN

fading
Turn the sound level con-
trol in the "MAN"
range
.
Turning clockwise reduces the
sound level and vice versa.
Monitor
the fading condition
through the
headset.
1. Set the aperture
control
to "AUTO"
and read the
f-stop on the aperture scale.
2. Turn the aperture control
in the "MAN"
range to ad-
just the aperture indicator
needle to the value previ-
ously noted
.

Start fading out by turning
the aperture control
counter-
clockwise. The picture fades out completely
when the indi
-
cator needle enters the fade-out mark.

To fade in, turn the aperture control
clockwise from the
faded -out state until the indicator needle returns to the f-stop
corresponding to the subject.
After picture fading, be
sure to
return the aperture control
to
"AUTO".
REMOTE CONTROL Fl LMING
Remote
control
filming
is possible with
an optional
remote
control or the remote control microphone provided.

Set
the
camera's
power
switch to "OFF".
2. Set
the
remote
control
switch to "OFF".
3. Plug
the
remote
control
into the "REM"
jack.
