Testing and Connecting the Printer
This chapter provides you with the necessary instructions to test
that the printer is correctly set up for use with a computer. You
will also find information on how to connect the printer to your
computer.
Plugging in the Printer
Follow these steps to connect the printer to an electrical outlet:
1. Make sure the printer is turned off. It is off when the N side of
the power switch is pushed in.
2. Insert the power cord into the back of the printer. Then plug
the other end into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
