Allows you to manage SIM Card End-to-End Encryption.

Allows you to manage Broadcast, Assistance, and Disaster Calls.

Messages

The messages feature allows you to send and receive text messages. A message can contain up to
1000 characters, depending on your service provider settings.
When you receive a message that cannot be decrypted, your radio displays containing the following
information:
• ISSI address of the sender
• Decryption Failed: message
• Decryption fail reason: Wrong Key, No Key, or SIM Error.
You can close the notification by pressing the Right soft key or the End key.
Pressing the PTT button when a message is highlighted can cause one of the following actions,
depending on your service provider settings:
• The radio ignores the PTT button request.
• The radio starts a Private Call with the message sender.
• The radio starts a Group Call on a currently selected talkgroup.
